Breath of Life is Ken McGarity's solo debut and energetic introduction into the well loved genre of Native American Flute Musicianship. This album offers a "nowhere to hide" experience for McGarity, and his listeners, as he navigates the entire offering as a solo instrumentalist. With a gift for the nuances of the instrument, and song construction like his, it is apparent that there is no need to hide within background instrumentation or other musical embellishment to get his soul stirring musical points across to the audience.

Breath of Life is Native American Flute music as a stand alone experience, and what a delightful experience has been crafted for the listener with this effort. Ken McGarity brings a melodic intuitiveness and complexity to the instrument that is a pleasant surprise for the listener and a rarity amongst his peers. Undoubtedly this release will shake things up in the genre and elevate the standard for Native American Flute musical experiences for audiences everywhere.
